Arsenal FPL Season Review 23/24 – Key Stats and Top Performers

While Manchester City retained their Premier League crown, Arsenal’s impressive runner-up finish highlighted their squad’s strength.

This article dives into the performances of their key assets from a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) perspective, analyzing the players who delivered the most points for fantasy managers.

From the table, the Arsenal player who was really the standout performer from an FPL point of view was Bukayo Saka. The English winger who finished at a price of 8.8million in the game, returned 226 FPL points.

Behind him was Odegaard, who was 0.2million cheaper and had a total of 186 fantasy points. In third, we have defender Ben White who cost 6.1 million and returned 182 FPL points.

In fourth place, we have new signing Kai Havertz whose performance would have shocked so many. In the 23/24 season, he returned a total of 180 FPL points.

In fifth we have Rice a player who plays a lot deeper but contributed immensely in the 23/24 premier league season, he ended up with 165 FPL points.

Once more Bukayo Saka leads the way in this stat. In the 23/24 Premier League season, Bukayo Saka got himself 16 goals for Arsenal, with six being penalties.

In second place we have Kai Havertz, who got himself 13 goals with one being a penalty. In third, we have Trossard who did not play so many minutes; despite that, he scored 12 goals in the Premier League last season.

Then in fourth, we have Odegaard with eight and Rice with seven being the fifth top scorer for Arsenal in the PL.

Now moving on to assists and expected assists for Arsenal players in the Premier League last season, we have Martin Odegaard in first, who got himself 10 assists and an xA of 11.2, in second we once more have Bukayo Saka in the top two of yet another stat this time he picked up nine assists and he had an xA of 11.0.

In third place, we have Declan Rice who had eight assists and an xA of 4.8, in fourth we have Havertz who is in the top five for yet another metric this time he had seven assists and an xA of 4.3.

And then finally we have Gabriel Jesus who assisted five times last season from an xA of 3.2.

What players got into good goalscoring positions for Arsenal in the Premier League last season. Well, here is a breakdown of the top 10 goal scorers and their xG.

Once more Bukayo Saka tops the chart, Kai Havertz is in second, Trossard is in third, Odegaard is in fourth and Martinelli finds himself in fifth.

It is important to note that Rice didn’t get himself into clear-cut scoring opportunities, however, that didn’t prevent him from scoring seven goals – he massively over-performed his xG.
