Gameweek 4 Bus Team: ‘Early’ FPL Player Picks for Success

If I were to be hit by a bus tomorrow and couldn’t make any transfers ahead of the Gameweek 4 FPL deadline, here’s how I’d want my team to look:

fpl gw4 bus team

This is my GW4 bus team, predicted to score at least 58.7 points according to artificial intelligence. One reason for this high prediction is the strong selection of players included in my bus team.

I’ve targeted players from teams with great fixtures in Gameweek 4, focusing on those with high clean sheet odds, impressive predicted points returns, and players currently in top form.

Team Breakdown:

Defense:
I have Brighton’s Verbruggen in goal, who has only played one match this season but managed to earn four points in his outing against Arsenal, making six saves and securing an additional two points.

With a favorable Gameweek 4 fixture against Ipswich Town, his clean sheet odds are high. If he repeats his save count, I could be in for a solid haul.

In defense, I’ve selected some of the most creative full-backs in the Premier League. Trent Alexander-Arnold has created three big chances this season, boasts an xA of 1.5, and has made seven key passes while keeping clean sheets in all three games he’s played.

Robinson has already racked up two assists this season, with his last blank coming in Gameweek 1. Lastly, Digne, with a favorable fixture and an assist in his last outing against Leicester City, rounds out the defense.

Midfield:
In midfield, I’ve picked Garnacho, who has a promising fixture, and Eze, who has great underlying stats and delivered 10 points against Chelsea.

Then there’s Salah, who hasn’t blanked yet this season, and Palmer, who is Chelsea’s main man, has a strong fixture this gameweek, and is guaranteed to start. Lastly, Rogers, a budget enabler who passes the eye test and is a guaranteed starter, could deliver a goal or assist this gameweek.

Forwards:
Up front, I’ve chosen Erling Haaland and Joao Pedro, two forwards with great fixtures and high predicted FPL points returns for Gameweek 4.

So, there you have it—our ideal Gameweek 4 team if we were unable or forgot to make changes before the deadline. This is how we’d want our team to look.
